What is claude-mem?

claude-mem is the open-source memory engine. Supported integrations capture agent activity and turn useful decisions, discoveries, and fixes into searchable notes stored on your machine.

What does CMEM Pro add?

CMEM Pro adds hosted observation, cloud sync, and your private MCP connection. Synced memories can be recalled from compatible clients. The local open-source engine remains a separate free option.

Where is my memory stored?

The local engine stores memory on your machine. When you enable cloud sync, synced observations are also stored by CMEM. Review the privacy policy and your integration settings before connecting.

Does every MCP connection capture conversations?

No. MCP recall and capture are different capabilities. Capture needs a supported integration. The ChatGPT connection recalls synced notes; it does not automatically capture ChatGPT conversations or backfill local-only history.

What do individual plans cost?

CMEM Pro is $30/month, Heavy is $70/month, and CMEM Max is $100/month with billed overages above its included allowance. Start with a 30 Day Free Trial, then $30/month for CMEM Pro. Included usage and automatic upgrade terms are shown before checkout.

How does a trial end?

Every account gets a 30 Day Free Trial with included usage. Billing can begin when the trial period ends or its included usage is spent, whichever happens first. A credit or debit card is required; prepaid cards are not eligible.

Is there a team plan?

TeamBrain is being developed with design partners already using claude-mem. Pilot seats, onboarding, scope, and price are agreed on a fit call. Public TeamBrain pricing is not announced, and applying does not start a subscription.

Will this reduce all my model costs?

Hosted observation moves memory-generation calls off your primary agent subscription. Search, retrieval, and other model calls can still use your agent or provider plan. The effect on total token use and cost depends on the workflow.
